Javon Small enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for PG
Notre Dame
If Small truly wanted to return home, he could not get any closer than the Fighting Irish, whose campus is in his hometown. While Small didn鈥檛 take a physical visit to Notre Dame last offseason when he was in the portal, he did conduct a with the coaching staff so the two sides are familiar with each other. Perhaps that connection and proximity to his family would be enough to win Small鈥檚 services.
The big issue for the Fighting Irish is the team鈥檚 lack of success this past season as they went only 13-20. While it was the first year under a new head coach, this could be enough to scare Small away. However, with familiarity with the coaching staff, a connection to the city and state and the opportunity to play in the ACC, Notre Dame can make quite the pitch to the point guard.
