Khalif Battle enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots
USC Trojans
In a bit of a surprise, Andy Enfield left USC to become the head coach at SMU who will be part of the ACC in 2024-25. Meanwhile, the Trojans will move to the Big Ten next season and do so with Eric Musselman leading the charge. Battle spent this past season playing for Musselman at Arkansas, making USC a top landing spot for the talented guard. The coaching change means a significant amount of roster turnover is likely at Southern California, but the Trojans’ roster was already set to have a drastically new look next season regardless, particularly in the backcourt with Boogie Ellis out of eligibility, Isaiah Collier headed to the NBA and Kobe Johnson, Oziyah Sellers and Bronny James all transferring. Battle would be a nice piece to help mask those losses and a veteran player who could help establish a new culture at USC under Musselman.
