Johnell Davis enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for star

This would be a case of the rich getting richer, but the Huskies could use Davis鈥� talents. With guards Tristen Newton and Cam Spencer graduating, UConn needs guards, especially ones with experience. The Huskies have clearly had success adding guards through the transfer portal and Davis could be the next one in that line.
Davis would be intrigued by the opportunity to play for a national championship contender and should have ample playing time available if he chose to join UConn. The move would also give Davis the greatest opportunity to raise his draft stock as a key member for a championship-caliber team. If Davis values winning in his final year over anything else, there would be no better team to join than the Huskies.
