Javian McCollum transferring: 5 landing spots for guard
Nebraska
There was a mutual interest between the Cornhuskers and McCollum last offseason as the guard prior to his eventual commitment to Oklahoma. While the move ultimately fell through, Nebraska could be interested in McCollum once again this year. The Cornhuskers lost talented shooter Keisei Tominaga to graduation and backup guard Jamarques Lawrence to the transfer portal, so there is a need for scoring and depth in the backcourt.
McCollum would once again be able to stay in the region he鈥檚 spent the past year while reconnecting with a team he was interested in last year. With Nebraska coming off of an NCAA Tournament appearance, it could also appeal to McCollum as a destination with postseason potential. If the two sides are still on good terms, a union could be a solid one for both.
