Middletown HS boys basketball defeated in playoffs
MIDDLETOWN, Md. — The Middletown High School boys varsity basketball team fought a tough fight this season to bring home a regional win.

On March 12, the boys played Carver Vocational Tech High school; the players were nervous but determined to win.

In the first period, the teams were tied 18 to 18. The second period, MHS was down by eight, 21 to 29. The third period MHS, was down only by two, 40 to 42. It was a very tough game that had us all on the edge of our seats. In the end, Middletown had a heartbreaking defeat, with the final score at 52 to 64.

At the last couple of seconds in the game, all MHS seniors were put on the court for their last game, making it a happy ending. In addition, the boys ended their season bringing home a best record at MHS for the first time since 2016.
