Dain Dainja transferring: 5 landing spots for Big Ten center
Ohio State
Dainja was clearly interested in the Buckeyes program as a recruit, making an official visit to campus. While the Ohio State coaching staff has changed, new head coach Jake Diebler was a part of the staff that recruited Dainja hard out of high school. If the two had any relationship during the recruiting process, Diebler may be interested in adding the Big Ten big man. With a need for impactful players on both sides of the floor, the Buckeyes could certainly use Dainja鈥檚 versatility and Big Ten experience.
This move would keep Dainja in the Midwest, which is likely appealing to the player as he enters the final seasons of his career. While Ohio State may be in a bit of a rebuilding phase, Diebler has proven he can win with the roster he has and adding Dainja would be just the icing on top. Dainja could easily slide into the roster and become one of the team鈥檚 most impactful bigs, something he is no doubt searching for in the portal.
