BJ Freeman enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots

Kentucky is another school on this list that has already been in contact with Freeman and it feels like John Calipari could look to add some experienced scorers to his roster this offseason after his young team went one-and-done in the NCAA Tournament once again this year. Fifth-year guard and leading scorer Antonio Reeves is out of college eligibility while the Wildcats are likely to see several of their young stars head to the NBA including Reed Sheppard, Rob Dillingham and Justin Edwards. Calipari has a talented freshman shooting guard coming in next season with Billy Richmond, but it wouldn鈥檛 hurt to add a player like Freeman to mentor the young guard. Freeman could ultimately thrive on such a talented roster and would help fill the scoring void left behind by Kentucky鈥檚 departing talent.
