Grant, standing at 6-foot-5 and 210 pounds, is the best left-handed pitcher in Connecticut and in the top 50 nationwide. He has a 91 mph fastball that will serve him well at Vanderbilt University, where he decided to attend in the fall after decommitting from Northwestern after the termination of head coach Jim Foster.聽
