Tonnotti, standing at 6-foot-2, is the third-best right-handed pitcher in Connecticut and the fifth-best player overall. During his junior year at St. Paul High, Tonnotti went 12-0, leading his team to the Class S State Championship. In the game, he allowed just two hits and three walks while striking out nine to lead top-seeded St. Paul to a 5-0 win over No. 4 Somers. Tonnotti, now attending IMG Academy for his senior year, has committed to the University of Connecticut.聽
