Marques Warrick transferring: 5 possible landing spots
Michigan Wolverines
Michigan moved on from head coach Juwan Howard following an incredibly disappointing 8-24 season and has since hired former Florida Atlantic head coach Dusty May. Some of May’s players from FAU will likely follow him to Ann Arbor, but regardless, he will need to add a lot of talent through the portal this offseason to field a competitive roster in his first year in the Big Ten. The Wolverines are likely to lose point guard Dug McDaniel who was the team’s leading scorer in 2023-24 but has entered the transfer portal. With promising young guard George Washington III also potentially on the move and Jaelin Llewellyn graduating, Michigan is extremely thin in the backcourt. Warrick would be a nice get for May as a go-to scorer and he might be able to boost his draft stock as a featured piece on a Big Ten team.
