Top 10 Wisconsin HS baseball players in Class of 2024
1. JD Dix, SS, Whitefish Bay
Dix is a special all-around player and a big reason why Whitefish Bay won its first WIAA baseball state championship last year. Despite missing some time due to injury, Dix was terrific while on the diamond during the Dukes’ stretch run, batting .452 with a 1.329 OPS. Dix added two home runs, 30 RBIs and 36 runs while also showcasing his tremendous speed as he stole 27 bases. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound switch-hitting shortstop can also flash the leather in the infield. Both his bat and defensive ability have been on display with Hitters Baseball Academy, and this past fall, Dix shined at the Prep Baseball Report All-American game held close to home at American Family Field in Milwaukee. Dix committed to Wake Forest in December, but he is likely to hear his name called early in June’s MLB draft.
Wisconsin native JD Dix () was hometown star at A-A Game, showed off his tools at workout, per usual worked up the middle and to oppo field from both sides of plate, also showed great 1st-step quickness and straight line speed (6.48), currently uncommitted
