Another standout pitcher, Leatherman had a fantastic junior year with the Trojans. The 6-foot-2, 170-pound right-hander went 5-1 with an ERA under 2.00, a .164 batting average against and 61 strikeouts over 46 1/3 innings. For his efforts, Leatherman was named all-section.
