Another standout pitcher, Leatherman had a fantastic junior year with the Trojans. The 6-foot-2, 170-pound right-hander went 5-1 with an ERA under 2.00, a .164 batting average against and 61 strikeouts over 46 1/3 innings. For his efforts, Leatherman was named all-section.
Expectations are high for Leatherman again this season as he was selected by as the best player in Minnesota heading into the 2024 season. He is ranked as the seventh senior in the state by PBR and second by Perfect Game. He signed with the North Carolina Tar Heels on
