Any conversation about Dayton Flyers basketball in 2024-25 starts with DaRon Holmes. The 6-foot-10 forward had the opportunity to enter last summer鈥檚 NBA draft, but he decided to return to school. The draft will be a possibility again this offseason, as well as the NCAA transfer portal. Dayton needs to do everything it can to bring back its star for his senior year. If that gets done, the Flyers need to look for a guard who can partner with him. A duo of Holmes and Dual could give Dayton the ceiling of being the best mid-major team in college basketball.聽
