Top 10 players from the East Region of the NCAA Tournament
10. Jalen Blackmon, G, Stetson
Though not well known on a national level, Blackmon is one of the best scorers in the country, ranking No. 10 in the nation with 21.5 points per game. He also throws in 2.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists for the Hatters.
After winning ASUN Newcomer of the Year honors last year and making first-team all-conference, Blackmon repeated as a first-team All-ASUN member this year. His play helped No. 2-seed Stetson defeat No. 4-seed Austin Peay to win the ASUN Tournament. While Stetson gets a tough draw as the No. 16 seed going up against No. 1-seed UConn, expect Blackmon to still perform well as a scorer and make his presence more known on a national stage.
