Maxime Raynaud transferring: 5 best fits for 7-foot-1 center
San Diego State
With forwards Jaedon LeDee and Jay Pal set to leave, the Aztecs could use some experience in the frontcourt and could look up the road at the center from Stanford. As San Diego State is set to lose a glut of its offensive production to either graduation or NBA decisions, Raynaud would help the team retain its high level of play over the past few years.
Raynaud would have a couple of benefits in joining the Aztecs as well. The first is the quality of the program as it just recently made a national championship appearance and has gone to the NCAA Tournament every year since 2021. He would also be able to stay in California, a state that the France native has likely grown attached to over his years with the Cardinal. Though the Mountain West Conference isn鈥檛 given as much national recognition as some of the others, it has proven to be competitive and has a history of getting players to the NBA, which Raynaud could be seeking in the future.
