Devin Askew enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots
USC Trojans
Askew starred at Mater Dei and a return close to his old stomping grounds with USC seems possible, especially considering the program offered the talented guard out of high school. The Trojans struggled mightily in 2023-24, going just 15-18 despite a talented young roster. Head coach Andy Enfield might be looking to add a couple of veteran players to his team going forward and Askew could be a good fit. USC will lose its top two leading scorers, guards Boogie Ellis and Isaiah Collier, while another guard, Oziyah Sellers, has already entered the transfer portal. That leaves the Trojans’ backcourt relatively thin going into next season, and even though Askew hasn’t proven the same scoring ability as players like Ellis or Collier, he could still play a big role for the program on the court and in the locker room.
