5. K.J. Simpson, G, Colorado
Arizona鈥檚 Caleb Love took home Pac-12 Player of the Year, but Simpson had a strong case as well for the award. He put up 19.6 points per game this season along with 5.7 rebounds and 4.9 assists. The junior guard was also a difference maker on the defensive side of the ball with 1.6 steals per game. This is a region loaded with talent, but Simpson is still near the top.聽
Colorado's KJ Simpson is one of my favorite players to watch in college basketball currently. Love his fearlessness as a shot-maker, the way he competes his ass off on defense, his great vision as a passer, and his quickness. Great energy + skill, put him on your radar for 2023.
