Marcus Foster transferring; 5 landing spots for Furman guard

The Yellow Jackets have a lot of the same benefits Georgia State has and more. They鈥檙e located in Foster鈥檚 native Atlanta, they play in the high-major Atlantic Coast Conference and they鈥檙e set up well for the future. Head coach Damon Stoudamire just finished his first season at Georgia Tech and while the team went just 14-18, there鈥檚 a lot of optimism in the program thanks to heavy contributions from young players and 2024鈥檚 No. 21 recruiting class.
With contributing senior guard Kyle Sturdivant exhausting his eligibility, the Yellow Jackets could benefit from another experienced shooter to step in his role. Foster would not only provide steady scoring, but veteran leadership for a young program aiming to build on a productive first year under a new head coach.
