Amari Williams transferring; 5 landing spots for forward
1. Penn State Nittany Lions
The Nittany Lions fell off slightly during head coach Mike Rhoades first season but that鈥檚 expected in a transition year. Unfortunately, Penn State is set to lose starting center Qudus Wahab and bench forward Leo O鈥橞oyle to graduation, setting up a hole in the frontcourt. Well, the Nittany Lions could look in state and add the dynamic Williams to lock down the five-spot.
This move would allow Williams to stay close to the city where he has called home for four years. He would also provide a big body defender to pair with Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year Ace Baldwin Jr. With those two in the fold, perhaps the Nittany Lions can ride their defensive stars back to the NCAA Tournament.
