Top 10 Missouri HS baseball players in Class of 2024
3. Tytus Cissell, SS, Francis Howell
Cissell continues to get better and better and has risen in the state’s Class of 2024 rankings with his play over the past year or so. Cissell was a star on the Royals Scout Team over the summer and showed well at February’s Super 60 showcase which followed a strong junior season at Francis Howell. Last year, Cissell led the Vikings to the Class 6A state championship game as he hit .396 with a .462 on-base percentage and a .540 slugging percentage. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound switch hitter added 24 RBIs, 24 stolen bases and 40 runs for the Vikings. The three-time all-state infielder should continue his emergence this spring at Francis Howell and could become an MLB draft pick this summer before he heads to Columbia to join the Missouri Tigers.
