Rumson-Fair Haven girls winter track celebrates stellar season
RUMSON, N.J. — The RFH Girls’ Winter Track team has had nothing short of a spectacular season which concludes the weekend of March 8, 9 and 10 at the National Championships in Boston. Clemmie Lilley has certainly led the way with an undefeated season running the 400m and 800m events. In fact, she won the NJ Meet of Champions and is now ranked #3 in the USA.

But she has not been the only star. Fellow junior, Isabella Rodriguez has emerged as a star in the 800m as well finishing a stunning 5th at that same Meet of Champions. Both she and Clemmie will be contesting that event at the Nationals. They will also be part of the RFH Record holding 4x400m relay along with Ryan and Reese Malone at the same meet. Ryan Malone will also be anchoring the Sprint Medley relay with Kate Hennen, Lucy Devlin, and Cassedy Stypul. Another junior, Logan Rettino won the State Championship in the 3200m and will compete at the Nationals in the 4x800m relay along with Hannah Nitka, freshman Kaitlyn Hathaway (who will also be in the frosh 800m and mile), and Katie Murray.

As a team, the girls were the Monmouth County Champions in the County Relays as well as the individual County Championships.
