It is hard to make an impact as a freshman in a program as talented as the Gators are, but Peterson has already emerged as Florida鈥檚 Saturday starter. The 6-foot-5 righthander has already picked up SEC Freshman of the Week honors after striking out 13 batters across seven scoreless innings. Peterson, alongside Cade Fisher, completes a stout one-two punch at the top of the rotation.
