10 unheralded players who could impact March Madness
Isaac McKneely, G, Virginia
The Cavaliers are known for their gritty and tough defensive style, however, McKneely is more known for his shooting prowess than his defensive game. The sophomore guard may not have the name recognition of Reece Beekman or the defensive intensity of Ryan Dunn, but he has one of the prettiest strokes in basketball as shown by his 47.2% shooting from beyond the 3-point line, good for second in the country.
That鈥檚 not all though as McKneely contributes 12.5 points a game and shoots an impressive 89.5% from the free-throw line as well. If there was a candidate in the NCAA Tournament that could get hot from deep, McKneely鈥檚 name should be at the very top of the list.
