9. Landon Hairston, OF/LHP, Casteel

Hairston is next in line in a family full of professional baseball players. His great-grandfather, Sam Harding Hairston, played in the 1940s and since then, the Hairstons have had countless talented ballplayers. Landon Hairston batted .500 with 34 RBIs and seven homers with the Colts last season en route to a 5A state championship for the first time in school history. He also earned a spot on the 2023 Preseason Underclass All-American West All-Region second team selected by Rawlings and Perfect Game. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound outfielder’s combination of contact and power earned him an offer and commitment to Arizona State.
