Top 10 Arizona HS baseball players in Class of 2024
1. Cameron Caminiti, LHP/OF, Saguaro
If Caminiti鈥檚 last name sounds familiar, it鈥檚 because he鈥檚 cousins with former MLB NL MVP Ken Caminiti. Cameron has taken the torch and become arguably the best prospect in the nation. He can throw his fastball up to 97 mph yet still keeps his focus on his two-way potential, even earning a selection to the All-Arizona team as an outfielder. While he pitched just one inning during the entire 2023 season, Caminiti had a batting average of .495 and earned the region鈥檚 offensive player of the year award. Caminiti is committed to pitch and play the field at LSU but first, he鈥檒l have one more shot at a 4A state championship with the Sabercats who lost the championship game a season ago.
