Top 10 Mississippi HS baseball players in Class of 2024
4. Jack Ketchum, RHP, Heritage Academy
Considered the top right-handed pitching prospect in the state, Ketchum has put together a 9-3 career record with a 3.79 ERA in 98 innings on the mound. He stood out last season at Heritage Academy, going 4-1 with a 1.34 ERA and 59 punch-outs.
He excels at the dish, too, having posted a .403 batting average with 70 RBIs and 49 runs scored in 81 games for the Patriots. Ketchum has also been named as an all-district performer in football and basketball.
Ketchum has a fastball that hits 92 miles per hour and is headed to play collegiately at Alabama.
I am very excited to announce that I will be committing to The University of Alabama. I would like to thank God, and all of my family and coaches who have helped me along the way. Roll tide.
