Gatwood is the consensus pick at No. 2 here. The 6-foot-5 righty can reach up to 97 mph on his fastball. Gatwood has of speed since the start of his junior season. The Mobile native will be an Auburn Tiger next year.
RHP put his name in the mix for best high school pitcher in the 2024 class with a lights-out performance at the All-America Game. This was as easy a 97mph as you will see! Also mixed in a mid-80s slider and upper-80s change. Extremely high ceiling!
