4. John Pearson, 3B, West Monroe
West Monroe has appeared in three consecutive state championship games, winning a title in 2022 thanks to some tremendous talent in its lineup including Federico, Hawsey, Isaiah Shivers and Pearson. Baseball talent runs in the Pearson family as John鈥檚 older brothers, Josh and Jacob, both previously signed to play at LSU. Josh became a national champion with the Tigers last year while Jacob was a third-round pick in the 2017 MLB Draft. John is also committed to LSU and could follow in both of their footsteps at some point after concluding his brilliant career at West Monroe. Last season, John hit .424 with seven home runs, 35 RBIs and 56 runs. The 6-foot, 205-pound senior should showcase his power again this spring as he looks to lead the Rebels to another state title.
