1. Cade Arrambide, C, Tomball
Considered one of the top high school backstops in the , Arrambide easily earns the top spot on this list. As a junior, Arrambide hit .431 with 19 doubles, seven home runs, 33 RBIs, 15 runs, a .528 on-base percentage and a .817 slugging percentage. This performance earned him district Co-MVP, first-team all-state and second-team all-Texas honors. Arrambide also participated in numerous All-American games for Baseball Factory, Perfect Game and USA Baseball. He also won the Perfect Game All-American Classic .
Given his popularity among scouts, it is no surprise that Arrambide is the unanimous top player in Texas among the three major recruiting outlets and is also ranked as the No. 53 overall draft prospect by MLB.com. While he has LSU, it is unlikely that he will make it to Baton Rouge as he will likely hear his name called early in this year鈥檚 MLB draft.
