Rumson-Fair Haven field hockey builds foundation for success
RUMSON, N.J. — Rumson-Fair Haven field hockey finished their tough season 16-5 after playing West Essex in the North Group II state finals. The game ended in a loss for the Bulldogs, and West Essex went on to win the Group II state championship against Point Boro.

The high scorers for the Bulldogs are Junior Sylvie Notine, Junior Isabella Kaczor, Freshman Aly Megaw and Freshman Reese Lydon.

Together, they produced 98 goals for the Bulldogs. Captains Maya Effron and Sylvie Notine guided the team through the Shore Conference Tournament up until the semifinals. Freshman goalie Brooke Jaenicke finished her season with 123 saves in goal.

The Bulldogs were put into a challenging season this year and first year coach Kelsi Ehehalt had her work cut out for her. The Dawgs are looking forward to next season and hoping to take it even further.
