College basketball鈥檚 top 10 freshmen so far in 2023-24 season
1. Reed Sheppard, G, Kentucky
Sheppard has separated himself as the clear best freshman in the country and his game shows very few weaknesses. The 6-3 guard shoots over 56% from the field, ranks fourth among all D-I freshmen in assist-to-turnover ratio and is 15th in the country in steals per game. In addition, he shoots 53.6% from three on four attempts per game while knocking down 87.1% of his free throws. Sheppard was missing from most NBA draft boards before the season but now looks like a surefire lottery selection come May.
Whoa! Look at this move by Reed Sheppard!
