3. Providence
The Friars are fresh off a disappointing loss to Seton Hall but began conference play with wins over Marquette and Butler. Ed Cooley is now with Georgetown and Kim English has stepped in as head coach to replace the Providence legend to push towards another Big East title. National championship contenders stand in their way but NBA prospect Bryce Hopkins and junior guard Devin Carter can take them as far as they want to go. Their impressive non-conference record coupled with their hot start in conference play puts them firmly in conference title contention.
