Tate Rodemaker transferring; 5 landing spots for quarterback
1. Pitt
Another school that came close to landing Rodemaker鈥檚 services out of high school was Pittsburgh. The quarterback made an official visit to the campus and the for Rodemaker before he eventually committed to FSU.
Much of the coaching staff, including head coach Pat Narduzzi, are still on the staff and the team needs a quarterback. With Phil Jurkovec exhausting eligibility and Christian Veilleux playing poorly in his limited starts, Pitt could use an experienced signal caller to help steady the ship. Rodemaker would make a perfect fit for the Panthers as he not only has familiarity with the coaching staff but also has experience starting games and finding success in the ACC. Rodemaker would have a clear opportunity to start and have the potential to show fellow ACC member Florida State what they would be missing out on, which could be appealing to the quarterback.
