Chandler Morris transferring; 5 potential landing spots
1. UCF
The Knights have been active in the transfer portal looking for a replacement for John Rhys Plumlee, who exhausted his eligibility. UCF head coach Gus Malzhan should be familiar with Chandler, not only because he offered him a scholarship as a recruit, but also because he had Chad serve as his offensive coordinator during the 2020 season.
Given Morris鈥� experience and dual-threat abilities, he may interest Malzhan with his athleticism and experience. Also being able to communicate with Chad about his son would help him get an inside track on landing the quarterback. For Chandler, he would be able to run an offense he is familiar with while also playing for an offensive-minded head coach who has worked with QBs such as Cam Newton, Bo Nix and more.
