Robby Ashford enters transfer portal; 5 landing spots for QB

While many top programs have been able to land quarterbacks in the transfer portal, the Hurricanes have not found its new signal caller yet. With last season鈥檚 starter Tyler Van Dyke transferring to Wisconsin and inexperience among the backups, Miami needs a couple of arms in its quarterback room.
Ashford could be one of those players. Coming out of high school, Ashford committed to and played for Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal and he could want to play for his program again. Given the team鈥檚 need for a signal caller, Ashford鈥檚 experience in the SEC and his familiarity with Cristobal, Miami could be the perfect spot for the quarterback.
