LaJohntay Wester enters transfer portal; 5 landing spots for WR

There aren鈥檛 any significant ties to South Carolina for Wester, but joining the Gamecocks could simply give him his best chance to showcase his talent in college football鈥檚 top conference. Standout receiver Xavier Legette is likely on his way to the NFL while the Gamecocks were also dealt a blow when 2022 All-SEC wideout Antwane Wells Jr. entered the transfer portal earlier this month. South Carolina could look to add multiple players to its receiver group this offseason and Wester would make for a good pickup. The chance to play for Shane Beamer, a former college wide receiver who has produced some strong talent as a coach over the years, could be enticing for Wester.
