Faith Lee: DAC鈥檚 2023 Most Valuable Golfer shares why she loves the game
VALPARAISO, Ind. — Faith Lee is a Valparaiso High School Senior recently named 鈥淢ost Valuable Golfer鈥� by the Duneland Athletic Conference this Fall. Originally introduced to golf because her dad was passionate about it and her two older sisters were already playing in high school, Faith got involved and fell in love with the sport too. She relishes the mental aspect, noting that, though there can be many tough days on the course, 鈥渨hen you finally get it, it feels amazing.鈥�
Golf鈥檚 positive impact extends beyond the competition and awards for her. She appreciates the many great friends and memories she鈥檚 made by being on the golf team and the quality time it鈥檚 given her with her family. Playing golf provided 鈥渁 great time to bond with my dad since we鈥檙e both busy people; it set aside a couple hours here and there for us to hang out and practice.鈥�
