Top 10 Ohio boys basketball players in Class of 2024
7. Jonathan Powell, G, Centerville聽
Centerville High School has featured some exceptional talent on the hardwood in recent years between players like Tom House and Gabe Cupps, and Powell is next in line. Powell is a terrific athlete who can finish at the rim with high-flying dunks while also having the ability to step out and hit shots from beyond the 3-point arc. His offensive talent has been showcased while playing on the AAU circuit with Midwest Basketball Club as well as with the Elks as he averaged 16.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists in his junior season, shooting 49% from the field and 41% from 3-point range. After losing in the state semifinals last season, the 6-foot-6 guard will look to take Centerville one step further before playing at Xavier.
