Dequan Finn transferring; 5 landing spots for MAC POTY
4. Iowa
How attractive a potential quarterback opening at Iowa really is could be up for debate, but a move to play at the Power 5 level in the Big Ten would likely be tough to pass up. The Hawkeyes’ offense was historically bad in 2023 as the team scored just 16.6 points per contest which ranked 130 out of 133 FBS teams. Part of that is due to the loss of starting quarterback Cade McNamara early in the season. Backup Deacon Hill didn’t do much to prove he deserves the starting job in 2024, so Kirk Ferentz will likely turn his attention to the portal to bring in another arm. Landing Finn would be an exciting addition to pair with whoever Ferentz hires as Iowa’s next offensive coordinator.
