Kyle McCord enters transfer portal; 5 landing spots for QB
Maryland
The Terrapins have finished just behind the big names in the Big Ten East division each of the past two seasons, coming in fourth after Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State. While divisions will disappear after this season, it is clear that Maryland is among the best competitors outside of the bluebloods in the Big Ten. With starting quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa exhausting his eligibility, the Terps need a new signal caller.
Maryland could appeal to McCord for several reasons. The first would be that the Terrapins play in the Big Ten, a conference the quarterback is deeply familiar with. Another is that the campus isn鈥檛 too far from where McCord grew up and played his high school football, which could be appealing to the signal caller. Lastly, the team is well constructed even with the loss of Tagovailoa and thus McCord could easily slot in and help Maryland maintain their success over his final two years of eligibility.
