3. Teryn Gardner, G, Mead
Gardner is a terrific athlete who also stars in soccer and track and field at Mead High School. However, her greatest talent is on the hardwood where she has already become a 1,000-point scorer for the Panthers. Last season, the 5-foot-9 guard was tremendous as she averaged 25.3 points, eight rebounds and 5.3 assists. Gardner helped lead Mead to a third-place finish at state, the Panthers鈥� best deepest run in a decade, thanks to an incredible game-winning shot in the final seconds of the third-place game. Gardner is an exceptional shooter with an uncanny ability to score which will be on full display this winter at Mead and during her college basketball career at Boise State.
