Grayson McCall transferring; 5 landing spots for graduate QB
North Carolina State
Wolfpack starting quarterback Brennan Armstrong has exhausted his eligibility after his lone season in Raleigh. Meanwhile, backup quarterback MJ Morris recently entered the transfer portal himself, leaving a huge hole at the signal caller position at NC State.
That hole could be filled by McCall. A North Carolina native, McCall may have interest in returning to his home state and the Wolfpack are in a much better position than other in-state schools like Duke and Wake Forest. For McCall, he would join a top-25 caliber team that excelled this season despite a passing attack that ranked outside of the top 100. If McCall wants to move closer to home and have a chance to win a Power 5 championship in the process, he鈥檇 be hard-pressed to find a better situation than NC State.
