EJ Warner enters transfer portal; 5 landing spots for QB
Kansas State
The Wildcats find themselves with an uncertain future at the quarterback position. Following the transfer portal entrance of starter Will Howard, Kansas State finds itself without a lot of experience at signal caller as true freshman backup Avery Johnson only has 35 career pass attempts.
While head coach Chris Klieman may be interested in seeing what his young quarterback could do, EJ would provide the team with a more experienced and polished passer. EJ has a connection to the Wildcats too as Kade played his final two seasons in Manhattan and excelled under Kansas State offensive coordinator . If the two sides have mutual interest, it may go a long way for the Wildcats to remain competitive in the Big 12.
