Tyler Van Dyke transferring; 5 landing spots for grad QB
North Carolina State
The Wolfpack used the transfer portal a year ago to get its 2023 starter Brennan Armstrong from fellow ACC school Virginia. Unfortunately, Armstrong didn鈥檛 excel in the offense as he threw for only 1,621 yards, 11 touchdowns and six interceptions. Additionally, backup quarterback MJ Morris decided to take a redshirt season this past year and his future with the program is up in the air.
Not only is North Carolina State head coach Dave Doeren familiar with Van Dyke from the years playing against him, but Doeren also recruited the quarterback out of high school and even offered him a scholarship. Given his experience in the ACC and the similar offensive system to what he ran in 2021, Van Dyke may be interested in joining the Wolfpack in hopes of bringing the team a conference title.
