Van Dyke has had an up-and-down career in Miami since first taking over the starting role from D’Eriq King in 2021. That season, Van Dyke burst onto the scene with 2,931 yards, 25 touchdowns and six interceptions in 10 games, earning ACC Rookie of the Year and ACC Offensive Rookie of the Year honors.
However, things haven’t gone as smoothly in the past two seasons. In 2022, Van Dyke’s stats fell to 1,835 yards, 10 touchdowns and five interceptions in nine games after a change in coordinators. This season, under yet another coordinator, Van Dyke threw for 2,703 yards, 19 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 11 games, showing some improvement.
Now, Van Dyke will look to use the final year of his eligibility elsewhere with hopes of making it to the professional level. With that in mind, here are five potential landing spots for the quarterback.
