Freeman is a new arrival to Florida and IMG Academy after spending his first three years dominating at St. John鈥檚 College High School in Washington, D.C. As a junior, Freeman averaged 21.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists helping his squad to a 32-4 overall record and a Washington Catholic Athletic Conference Tournament championship. He also excelled on the Nike EYBL circuit as he helped Team Takeover to the Nike EYBL Peach Jam title where he was named first-team all-tournament after averaging 12.9 points and 5.4 rebounds.
The 6-foot-9 forward is a consensus top-50 recruit in the 2024 class, ranking as high as No. 20 in the country by On3. Freeman held 18 D-I offers and made visits to Alabama, Iowa and Texas but committed to Syracuse, officially signing his NLI on .
