Shohei Ohtani officially a free agent; Top 5 landing spots
1. Los Angeles Dodgers
As it seems to be every year with every big-name free agent in MLB, the Dodgers are once contenders for this year鈥檚 biggest name. Los Angeles is clearly willing to spend, having the sixth-highest payroll in baseball last season, and has had no fear making moves for big names, acquiring players like Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts and Trevor Bauer in the past. As one of the most consistent contenders in baseball, the Dodgers will certainly appeal to Ohtani, who has never made it to the postseason during his time with the Angels. If Los Angeles is willing to spend the money, Ohtani may find a new home on the other side of the city.
