10 teams with the best chance to reach Final Four in 2023-24
10. Arizona Wildcats
Last season, Arizona earned a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament after winning the Pac-12 Tournament. However, like a few teams on this list, the Wildcats鈥� season ended earlier than anyone expected after they were upset by No. 15 seed Princeton. That team was led by a lot of talent including Kerr Kriisa, Courtney Ramey and Azoulas Tubelis, each of whom won鈥檛 be back in 2023-24. The Wildcats will return 7-foot center Oumar Ballo, however, who had a breakout season last year, as well as talented sophomore guard Kylan Boswell, and senior Pelle Larsson.
Yet, what could ultimately put Arizona over the top this season is landing one of the top players in the transfer portal, Caleb Love, who averaged 16.7 points at North Carolina last year. The Wildcats also added Keshad Johnson, a terrific defender from San Diego State who led the Aztecs in scoring in last year鈥檚 national championship game. Arizona features a couple of other 7-footers in Henri Veesaar and Motijus Krivas as well which could be important for Tommy Lloyd鈥檚 team come tournament time. Lloyd will find out what he has early on in this team with non-conference games against Duke, Michigan State, Purdue, Alabama and Florida Atlantic.
