The Gamecocks鈥� center is set for what could be a major breakout in 2023-24 with her likely opportunity to take command of things. With Aliyah Boston receiving much of the work at the position over the past few years, Cardoso was still able to showcase her abilities at a high level and will now get a perfect chance to take control of a pivotal role in her senior campaign. With nearly 10 points and nine rebounds per game this past year, Cardoso delivered one of her best stat lines of the season in the team鈥檚 last game in the Final Four with 14 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks against Iowa.
