The Wildcats were led by a duo of Keyontae Johnson and Markquis Nowell last season and head coach Jerome Tang brought in Perry who will look to make an impact from the start and replace Nowell鈥檚 production. Perry 17.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists with North Texas last season and was named the 2022-23 C-USA Player of the Year.

Perry proved he can dominate in a Group of 5 conference, but the competition is better in the Big 12 and he鈥檒l have to prove he can compete in one of the best college basketball conferences.
